The Wise Man Maduro Robusto Pack of 5 Cigars (Includes Free Shipping)
When Nicholas Melillo left Drew Estate to launch Foundation Cigars, his first release, El Gueguense, shook the cigar world. Named after a Nicaraguan folk dance meaning “The Wise Man,” it set the stage for the dark, sultry follow-up: The Wise Man Maduro Robusto. Blending and production are now overseen by cigar legends Jaime and Don Pepin Garcia, and each stick is expertly rolled at the world-renowned My Father Factory in Nicaragua.
The Wise Man Maduro Robusto features an all-Nicaraguan filler and binder from Jalapa, Condega, and Estelí, wrapped in a luxurious Mexican San Andres Maduro leaf—perfectly befitting the nickname “Chief of the Broadleaf.” The result? A medium-full-bodied smoke that earned a 95 rating in Cigar Aficionado and a top spot on their Top 25 Cigars of 2018.
Maroon and gold bands adorn each hand-crafted cigar, which glistens with natural oils. Construction is flawless, and the draw is consistently smooth. Flavor opens with white pepper and dark chocolate, with a subtle hint of cayenne. At its core, earthy, spicy tobacco is complemented by caramel, toast, and cinnamon, finishing clean, sweet, and delightfully complex. The 5½” x 50 robusto offers the perfect smoke time to savor the blend’s intricate flavors.
Designed for experienced connoisseurs, The Wise Man Maduro is a worthy successor to El Gueguense. Smooth, complex, and medium-full-bodied, it pairs beautifully with coffee, port, or dark rum and makes an excellent celebratory smoke. Fans of the original will appreciate the unique flavor profile this Maduro brings to the table.
Make a wise choice—try The Wise Man Maduro Robusto today and experience one of Nicaragua’s most luxurious cigars.
