Factory Smokes Sweet Robusto Cigars by Drew Estate
When Jonathan Drew decided to dip into the world of budget-friendly bundle cigars, it was a game-changer—and the Factory Smokes Sweet Robusto takes that move to the next level. Launched in 2018, the Factory Smokes series has become a go-to for cigar lovers who want solid quality without a premium price tag. Carrying the Drew Estate name and made at their factory in Nicaragua, this sweet-tipped cigar proves that value and flavor can absolutely go hand in hand.
The Factory Smokes line comes in four styles—Sun Grown, Shade, Maduro, and Sweet—with the sweet version standing out thanks to its smooth and flavorful profile. Built with Central American mixed fillers and binder and wrapped in a sweet-tipped Habano leaf, this cigar offers a mellow introduction with a sugary kiss at the cap that smooths out the blend from the first draw. It’s an approachable stick that balances simplicity with subtle flavor.
Packaged in bundles of 20, Factory Smokes Sweet Robusto features a rustic build and the line’s signature black-and-white band with a red accent to mark the sweet variety. The vitola delivers a loose, effortless draw that produces thick clouds of smoke. Flavor-wise, expect earthy tobacco at the core, with notes of cedar, cream, cinnamon, and a mild peppery finish. The sweet tip really shines in the early puffs, enhancing the experience without overpowering it.
Medium-bodied and straightforward, this cigar is ideal for casual smokers and seasoned aficionados alike. It’s a perfect companion to morning coffee, a light beer, or even a splash of bourbon. Fans of sweet-tipped cigars like Flor de Oliva will find a worthy rival here—maybe even a new favorite. Whether you're looking for an easygoing cigar to share at a herf, something to puff on during your commute, or a laid-back BBQ stick, the Factory Smokes Sweet Robusto is a flavorful, budget-friendly option that punches well above its weight.
