Factory Smokes Maduro Toro Cigars
Drew Estate’s Factory Smokes line has taken the budget cigar market to new heights, and the Maduro Toro is quickly emerging as one of the fan favorites. Produced at the renowned La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua, these cigars are crafted with the same attention to detail as their ultra-premium counterparts.
The blend features a dark and oily Indonesian Maduro wrapper over an Indonesian binder and a hearty mix of Central American filler tobaccos. Like most bundle cigar series, the maduro version tends to stand out—and in this case, rightfully so.
Each 25-count bundle includes cigars marked with the Factory Smokes band: black and white with a maroon stripe to identify the maduro blend. The rustic look adds charm, and the construction is impressively consistent for a value-priced stick. Expect a smooth draw and dense, blue smoke. The flavor profile kicks off with bold earth and raw tobacco, followed by layered notes of nutmeg, cocoa, and coffee. On the retrohale, you’ll notice a grassy note and white pepper for added depth.
Medium-bodied and full of character, the 6" x 52 toro size offers a comfortable, well-rounded introduction to the blend—rich, easygoing, and satisfying from start to finish.
This blend is perfect for beginners and more experienced smokers alike. Medium-bodied, the blend offers a fairly straight-forward flavor profile that is easy to enjoy. Like most maduro cigars, Factory Smokes Maduro pairs well with coffee or dark beer and makes a great morning cigar with which to start the day. Comparable in stature to other maduro sticks such as Flor de Oliva Maduro or Perdomo Fresco Maduro, this guy is not your typical bundle cigar. Whether you are introducing someone to the world of fine cigars or just want a good stick to enjoy while conducting the weekend cook-out, Factory Smokes Maduro Toro by Drew Estate is an absolute no-brainer.
