E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn – 5-Cigar Pack (Free Shipping!)
The E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn is widely regarded as one of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s finest achievements—a modern classic from the man hailed as “The Godfather of Boutique Cigars.” As the third release in the award-winning Perez-Carrillo Series—following the acclaimed La Historia and Encore—Pledge was created to surpass even its legendary predecessors. Meticulously rolled at Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic, Pledge combines Nicaraguan fillers, an Ecuadorian binder, and a dark, oily Connecticut Habano wrapper grown in the U.S. La Historia earned a 95 rating and the No. 2 spot in 2014, Encore achieved 96 points and Cigar of the Year in 2018, and Pledge soared past them both with a historic 98 rating in 2020, easily claiming the No. 1 cigar in the world by Cigar Aficionado.
Every Pledge Sojourn showcases flawless Perez-Carrillo craftsmanship, with a sleek box press, elegant blue-and-gold bands, and a signature gold ribbon at the foot. The construction is impeccable: an effortless draw, crisp burn, and dense ash from start to finish. Flavor opens with a burst of black pepper and Nicaraguan spice, then mellows into a refined balance of earth, espresso, and roasted nuts, accented by cocoa, cinnamon, and a touch of fresh bread on the finish. The retrohale delivers subtle sweetness, while its medium-full body stays smooth and harmonious throughout the 6" x 52 format—perfect for an extended, leisurely smoke.
This is a cigar designed for seasoned palates. Complex, bold, and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with full-bodied red wine, aged cognac, or rich black coffee. Comparable not only to its Perez-Carrillo siblings but also to ultra-premium offerings such as Padron 1964 and Diamond Crown Maximus, the Pledge Sojourn is a rare and highly coveted masterpiece. Available here in a convenient 5-pack—with free shipping—this is your chance to secure one of the world’s finest cigars while you still can.
