E.P. Carrillo Encore Majestic Pack of 5 Cigars (Includes Free Shipping) - Selected by Cigar Aficionado 2018 #1 Cigar Of The Year – 96 Rating
Crowned Cigar Aficionado’s #1 Cigar of the Year in 2018 and awarded an impressive 96-point rating, the E.P. Carrillo Encore Majestic stands as one of the most celebrated premium cigars of the modern era. This exceptional Nicaraguan puro is crafted by legendary cigar maker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, a fourth-generation master tobacconist renowned for blending precision, balance, and artistry.
True to its name, the Encore Majestic delivers such a rewarding smoking experience that an immediate second round feels inevitable. The “Encore” designation is more than a clever title—it reflects Carrillo’s early passion for jazz drumming, where rhythm and harmony shaped his creative approach long before he returned to his family’s cigar-making legacy. That same musical balance defines this award-winning blend.
Handcrafted using a carefully selected assortment of Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos, aged in traditional tercios wrapped in royal palm leaves, the Encore Majestic offers remarkable depth and refinement. The 5 3/8" x 52 box-pressed Majestic presents a bold yet elegant profile, featuring a firm, box-pressed barrel, a cream-colored foot ribbon, and striking dual copper-and-gold bands that reflect its elite pedigree.
Pre-light aromas of rich tobacco and fresh hay rise from the toothy, oily wrapper, while the cold draw delivers a subtle hint of pepper. Once lit, flavors of turned earth and charred oak take center stage, gradually unfolding into notes of black tea and sweet cream. As the cigar progresses, layers of leather, citrus, and caramel emerge, building into full-bodied flavor supported by a smooth, medium strength that remains impeccably balanced from start to finish.
A true icon in the world of premium cigars, the E.P. Carrillo Encore Majestic delivers elegance, complexity, and pure enjoyment. Pour a favorite drink, cue up some music, and savor a smoke that lives up to its legendary reputation—just don’t be surprised if one is never enough.
