Now you’ll be able to enjoy one anytime you’d like, which is going to be often. That’s because this 91-rated gem is packed full of succulent Nicaraguan longleaf filler tobaccos beneath an Ecuadorian binder and a chewy Brazilian wrapper that will dazzle and amaze.
Rugged in appearance with its wrapper bearing plenty of tooth, some noticeable veins, and an oily sheen, an E.P. Carrillo Elencos Don Rubino pulled from the depths of your humidor is nonetheless a marvel to behold. The large black and silver band, with its red embellishments and elegant script, perfectly highlights the coffee-colored leaf that coats the 5 1/4” X 50 vitola while smelling of leather and wood. Alight, an Elencos smolders slowly while releasing cream-filled clouds of smoke loaded with loamy earth, mocha, stone fruit, and red pepper. Soon blossoming to medium-full in strength and body, expect the flavors of honey-roasted peanuts, cinnamon, and black tea to all take a turn washing over the palate.
