Golden brown and oily, Capa de Sol wears an elegant gold and orange band and sports impeccable construction. A gentle roll ensures an easy draw with a ton of smoke output along with a razor sharp burn. Starting off, Capa de Sol is nutty and spicy. Bursts of Nicaraguan white pepper tickle the tongue while a heavy cedar note begins to take over. Earthy tobacco and spicy cayenne contend with each other on the retrohale, and the finish is crisp and clean. Capa de Sol resides on the heavy end of medium-full-bodied, but is beautifully balanced to ensure a velvety smooth experience. At 6” x 60, the Sultan size is great for fans of larger ring gauges and more mellow flavor.
Over the years, E.P. Carrillo Cigars has released some of the most sought-after connoisseur cigars on the market.
