Golden brown and oily, Capa de Sol wears an elegant gold and orange band and sports impeccable construction. A gentle roll ensures an easy draw with a ton of smoke output along with a razor sharp burn. Starting off, Capa de Sol is nutty and spicy. Bursts of Nicaraguan white pepper tickle the tongue while a heavy cedar note begins to take over. Earthy tobacco and spicy cayenne contend with each other on the retrohale, and the finish is crisp and clean. Capa de Sol resides on the heavy end of medium-full-bodied, but is beautifully balanced to ensure a velvety smooth experience. The 5” x 52 Robusto Royal is the smallest vitola in the brand, but don’t be fooled—the flavor is huge!
