The E.P. Carrillo Allegiance Confidant is the fourth release in the acclaimed Perez-Carrillo Allegiance series, following La Historia, Encore, and Pledge. With two prior releases earning Cigar of the Year and another nearly achieving the honor, Allegiance entered the market with high expectations. Unlike its predecessors, the Confidant is not produced at Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. Instead, it is hand-rolled at Tabacalera de Oliva in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend features Nicaraguan binders and fillers, finished with E.P. Carrillo’s signature Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The initial run consisted of 150,000 cigars, and additional production may follow based on demand. Shortly after release, the Confidant earned a 95 rating from Cigar Aficionado and ranked #5 on their 2023 Cigar of the Year list, confirming its elite status.

The Confidant showcases the familiar Perez-Carrillo series design, with bright green and gold accents and a green ribbon around the foot.
