E.P. Carrillo Allegiance Chaperone Cigars
The E.P. Carrillo Allegiance Chaperone is the fourth release in the acclaimed Perez-Carrillo Allegiance series, following La Historia, Encore, and Pledge. With two prior releases earning Cigar of the Year and another nearly claiming the title, Allegiance arrived with high expectations. Unlike its predecessors, the Chaperone is not produced at Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. Instead, it is hand-rolled at Tabacalera de Oliva in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend features Nicaraguan binders and fillers, crowned with E.P. Carrillo’s signature Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The initial run included 150,000 cigars, and additional production may follow based on demand. Soon after its release, the Allegiance line earned multiple 95 ratings in Cigar Aficionado, confirming its place among Carrillo’s elite offerings.
The Chaperone carries the signature Perez-Carrillo series design, with bright green and gold accents, including a green ribbon around the foot.
