Diamond Crown Churchill #2 Cigars
The Diamond Crown Churchill #2 cigar is, quite simply, a rare gem that reigns supreme among mild to medium ultra-premium smokes. This remarkable cigar is a worthy heir to the throne, born from two legendary cigar-making legacies. Handcrafted by Tabacalera A. Fuente to mark the 100th anniversary of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company, it features Dominican tobaccos wrapped in an exclusive Connecticut fermented wrapper—resulting in an exceptional smoke.
With a generous 54 ring gauge across the line (except for one larger size), the Diamond Crown cigars deliver maximum flavor packed into every leaf. Upon first unwrapping the cigar, its color and aroma of the 7 1/2" x 54 double corona may evoke thoughts of a light Corojo wrapper. However, this is due to the double fermentation of the Connecticut wrapper, which imparts a richer character. Once lit, any notions of spiciness or harshness are dispelled, replaced by creamy smoke with notes of mace and buttered toast. As you progress, the flavor profile evolves to reveal hints of almonds and exotic spices, culminating in a luxurious finish of cream and nutmeg.
Paired with a gin and tonic, it’s easy to envision yourself relaxing on a palace balcony, savoring life’s finer pleasures. Initially seen as a luxury, the Diamond Crown has maintained its price point and now competes with other premium cigars like Ashton Classic and Zino Platinum Scepter. Slip on the Crown and indulge in its majestic experience.
