Deadwood Sweet Jane Cigars
Deadwood Sweet Jane cigars by Drew Estate are now available nationwide—a major milestone for a brand with roots as unconventional as its flavor. When Jonathan Drew first broke into the cigar business, his unorthodox blends and edgy branding weren’t exactly welcomed with enthusiasm. With his “Know Your Direction” mantra, Drew faced a tough crowd and only managed to get his cigars into 14 retailers during that pivotal first year.
One of those early believers was the Deadwood Tobacco Company in South Dakota. That partnership turned out to be a brilliant one. In honor of Deadwood’s support during the early days, Drew Estate created a special house blend affectionately dubbed The Three Yummy Bitches. It quickly gained cult status and, over time, evolved into the Deadwood line that’s now embraced by smokers across the country.
Sweet Jane is a 5” x 46 corona that’s anything but ordinary. Wrapped in a luscious, oily maduro leaf and packed with rich Nicaraguan filler, this cigar delivers a bold, flavor-forward profile with a soft, sultry edge. Expect notes of cocoa and earthy spice up front, followed by hints of maple syrup, coffee, nutmeg, and a trace of floral incense. The finish is smooth but bold, leaving behind a lingering spice and sweet aroma that fills the room like fine pipe tobacco.
Though not traditionally infused, Sweet Jane offers a unique experience that feels like a crossover between Drew Estate’s Natural and Undercrown lines. Smooth, sweet, and spicy, this stick pairs beautifully with coffee, stout beers, or a deep red wine. With its vivid backstory, memorable packaging, and accessible profile, Sweet Jane is a must-try whether you’re a longtime aficionado or just getting started.
