Davidoff Yamasa Robusto Pack of 5 Cigars
In a world where it feels like every conceivable tobacco blend has been explored, the Davidoff Yamasa Robusto stands out as a truly rare find, boldly charting new territory. The name “Yamasa” carries weight—it refers to a region in the Dominican Republic once deemed unsuitable for cultivating premium tobacco. That is, until Davidoff took on the challenge. Through two decades of scientific innovation, relentless effort, and unwavering dedication, they transformed the region’s potential, yielding a rich, flavorful leaf now used as both wrapper and binder to complement the decadent Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos at the heart of this exceptional blend.
As attractive as they are tasty, each richly brown Davidoff Yamasa, 5” x 50, Robusto is subtly sweet through the nose and gives off hints of loam and cedar sawdust during a cold draw test. The tobaccos in the filler, cultivated in Esteli and Condega, add a characteristic Nicaraguan earthiness and spice to the original profile, while the Dominican Piloto and Mejorado do their part of melding the most robust flavors between layers of creamy leather and vanilla. However, it is the namesake Yamasa-grown leaves, both the San Vicente binder and the sun-kissed wrapper; that bring depth to the medium-full bodied smoke with the tastes of café con leche, almond, oak, and nutmeg.
Pricey but worth every penny, the Davidoff Yamasa Robusto cigar is an experience to be sought by all aficionados at some point in their smoking career. Why not make that time right now and get some while your SO is looking the other way? We will ship them to you as on the wings of eagles and then you can both delight in the rich flavor and aroma for which Davidoff is so famous.
