Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 is a cigar that can be thought of as the close, more up-to-date cousin to Davidoff Classic. Made in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner and friends, Davidoff Grand Cru is simple, highly refined, and pleasant. Boasting a blend of 4-year aged Dominican fillers and a Dominican binder, Davidoff Grand Cru is finished off with a first-choice Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf.

Although still in the mild-medium category, the 4 x 41 Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 has a higher proportion of ligero tobaccos in the filler blend, giving it just a bit more kick than its classic counterpart. Woody flavors are complimented by a creamy, slight hint of spice and a faint sweetness on the tip of the tongue.

Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 is, well, a Davidoff. In other words, it’s one of the most treasured cigars on Earth. Seasoned connoisseurs will appreciate its fine-tuned characteristics and velvety smoothness, while beginners should steer clear. Grand Cru pairs nicely with white wine and champagne and can really be enjoyed at any time of the day. Similar sticks include Diamond Crown Julius Caesar and Montecristo. Grand Cru usually means “the best of the best,” so when applied to a Davidoff cigar, it basically means “get one ASAP!”
