Cohiba Blue Toro Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
When one of the most renowned cigar brands in the world launches a new regular production line, it’s always a notable event, and that was precisely the case with the Cohiba Blue Toro. Crafted under meticulous supervision at General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic, Cohiba Blue offers a more approachable, reasonably priced alternative to the high-end, iconic red-dot Cohibas. The introduction of an affordable “entry-level” Cohiba proved to be a major success, and today it remains one of the easiest ways to experience the brand. This cigar features a three-country filler blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves, bound with a Honduran Habano binder and wrapped in an extensively aged Honduran Habano leaf of premium quality.
The refreshed packaging is striking, with vibrant blue boxes and textured blue-and-silver bands that lend a modern, sophisticated look. As expected from a brand of this caliber, the construction is impeccable, and the draw produces rich, flavorful smoke on every puff. The Cohiba Blue opens with a creamy texture and bold notes of white pepper and rolled oats, gradually revealing hints of cedar, coffee, and earthy tobacco. Smooth and enjoyable, it delivers a medium-bodied smoking experience with perfect balance and depth. The 6” x 54 toro is thick and robust, making it one of the most popular sizes, offering rich, mellow smoke and a refined take on the flavor profile.
Though the words “beginner” and “Cohiba” rarely appear together, the Blue Toro makes an exception. Medium-bodied and approachable, it’s accessible enough for newcomers while still engaging enough to satisfy seasoned aficionados. It pairs beautifully with bourbon, medium-bodied beer, or coffee, making it an excellent choice for nearly any occasion. While produced in the Dominican Republic, the Honduran influence stands out, so fans of classic Honduran cigars like Punch or Camacho will feel right at home. A premium-quality Cohiba at an honest, affordable price? It really does exist, and it’s called the Cohiba Blue Toro.
