Cohiba Blue Churchill Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
When one of the world’s most recognized cigar brands introduces a new standard production line, it’s always a notable event, and that was exactly the case with the Cohiba Blue Churchill. Produced under meticulous supervision at General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic, Cohiba Blue offers a more budget-friendly alternative to the high-end, red-dot Cohibas. The idea of creating an approachable “entry-level” Cohiba turned out to be hugely successful, and today this blend remains one of the easiest ways to experience the brand. Its recipe features a three-country filler of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves, bound by a Honduran Habano binder, and wrapped in a premium, aged Honduran Habano leaf.
The packaging has been modernized beautifully, with vibrant blue boxes and textured blue-and-silver bands that bring a fresh look to the classic Cohiba aesthetic. The build quality is excellent, and the draw produces consistent, flavorful smoke with every puff. The Blue Churchill delivers a creamy, smooth texture, with initial flavors of white pepper and rolled oats, gradually giving way to notes of cedar, coffee, and earthy tobacco. Balanced and medium-bodied, it offers a satisfying depth without being overwhelming. The 7 ½” x 50 Churchill provides a long, luxurious smoking session, allowing the blend’s flavors to unfold fully over an extended period.
Although “beginner” and “Cohiba” rarely appear together, the Blue Churchill is an exception. Medium-bodied and approachable, it’s easy enough for new smokers while still captivating seasoned aficionados. It pairs wonderfully with bourbon, coffee, or a medium-bodied beer, making it suitable for nearly any occasion. While produced in the Dominican Republic, the Honduran flavors come through strongly, appealing to fans of classic Honduran cigars like Punch or Camacho. A premium-quality Cohiba with an affordable price and exceptional flavor? It exists, and its name is the Cohiba Blue Churchill.
