Our Full Throttle Cigar Sampler Includes:

1 x Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli Torpedo (6" ½ x 52, ●●●●● Full, 93 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2018 #9 Cigar Of The Year. Alec Bradley dug deep into the vast stores of aged longleaf stored by the legendary Nestor Plasencia to secure some exquisite Esteli-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos possible to serve as a powerful full-strength filler. Next in the lineup are a paired set of succulent binders, one of course Nicaraguan, the other from Honduras. A final Nicaraguan leaf, rich with oils and potency, makes a bold statement as the wrapper. The flavor of this cigar can be described as both sweet and savory. Tastes of exotic spices and currants meld with earthy minerals, roasted coffee, and salted almonds. The cigar burns slowly and cool from beginning to end. Beautifully balanced despite its strength, this is a cigar calling out for a bold beverage pairing after a hearty meal.

1 x Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro (6" x 52, ●●●●● Full, 96 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2019 #1 Cigar Of The Year. A collaboration between Boutique Blends and master blender AJ Fernandez. Boutique Blends' Quattro line is their most successful project to date. This Nicaraguan puro begins with notes of chocolate, coffee, red pepper, and earth. Halfway through, the pepper subsides, and the chocolate and earth notes take center stage. By the end of the smoke, the pepper returns along with a hint of sweet cedar. The fine balance of sweet, spice and earth notes, along with an ideal burn rate and temperature, all make for a highly pleasurable and harmonious smoke.

1 x La Historia by E.P. Carrillo E-III (6" 7/8 x 54, ●●●●● Full, 95 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2014 #2 Cigar Of The Year. From the dark and oily San Andrés Maduro wrapper to the to the Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and the aged Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, this cigar is fantastic. The oils burst with flavor as soon as La Historia hits your lips. A smooth earthiness is the first sensation before lighting, but after the flame, there is an amazing bitter dark chocolate that comes through. Towards the end, a leather note perfectly mixes with all the flavors. Master cigar maker Ernesto Perez Carrillo has put all his knowledge of the love of the industry into the making of this beautiful stick.

1 x New World Gobernador (6" 1/2 x 55, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This smoke is on the full side of the spectrum, an exquisitely made Nicaraguan puro that really showcases how great tobacco from this nation can be. Filled with three different Nicaraguan tobaccos, viso from Ometepe, and ligeros from Condega and Esteli, this cigar is bound in a Jalapa binder and wrapped in a dark Nicaraguan wrapper leaf. As soon as this cigar touches your lips, there are strong notes of the best bitter, dark chocolate and earth that will make you reach for your lighter quickly. These pre-light flavors continue throughout the cigar but the natural fruity maduro sweetness plays a much larger role the more you smoke. Each flavor note mixes with a subtle spice that makes the New World an extremely complex cigar, especially for one that is a puro.

1 x Punch Diablo Scamp (6" 1/8 x 50, ●●●●● Full, 93 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2019 #16 Cigar Of The Year. This cigar has a host of 4-year-aged Nicaraguan and Honduran Habano-ligero to serve as filler. A hefty Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a spicy Ecuadoran Sumatra Oscuro wrapper, aged 6 and 4 years respectively, giving them preeminence over the filler to create a cigar of awesome character. The well-packed foot of the Punch Diablo Scamp provides some comfort as it smells of cocoa and spice, but it takes a stout flame to reveal the blend's true nature. Reams of billowing clouds stream from the barrel chock full of earth, oak, leather, and white pepper. Looking for dominion over the palate, not destruction, the cigar mercifully provides plenty of sweet cream, graham cracker, pecan, dark chocolate, and black cherry to keep you enthralled.

1 x CAO Flathead V660 Carb (6" x 60, ●●●●● Full, 93 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2015 #3 Cigar Of The Year. Made in Nicaragua at the Scandinavian Tobacco factory in Estelí. Inspired by grease monkeys and rock 'n roll, Flathead is box-pressed, flat-headed, and funky. This hot new stick has Nicaraguan ligero fillers. A Habano Connecticut binder, and a dark, well-marbled Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Buckle up because this hot rod gives one heck of a ride. This cigar starts its ignition with a strong, thick river of sweet, chocolatey flavor. The overall base is earthy, with just a few hints of pepper and coffee sprinkled about. As it evolves, a rich sweetness begins to dominate the flavor profile, giving bursts of floral and cocoa notes. Flathead is maduro and ligero at its best, with a wonderful mix of sweet, spicy, and strong.

1 x Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua No. 2 (6" 1/8 x 52, ●●●●● Full, 95 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2021 #2 Cigar Of The Year. Each stick is born in the San Lotano Factory in Nicaragua and is rolled under the supervision of AJ Fernandez himself. The wrapper, filler, and binder are 100% Nicaraguan leaves from his very own family farms. Each vitola is softly box-pressed and rolled to precision. The draw is soft and easy, the smoke production is superfluous, and the flavor is impeccably rich and exciting. An enormous burst of Nicaraguan spice greets the palate on opening puffs, soon settling down to a bold medley of black pepper, caramel, and cinnamon. Notes of earth and coffee hang in the shadows as a woody core of flavor emerges to take over the blend. A solid level of spice remains throughout the cigar, and the finish is sweet, speckled with light floral notes.

1 x Oliva Serie V Double Robusto (5" x 54, ●●●●● Full, 92 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2011 #12 Cigar Of The Year. This is the crown jewel of the Oliva Cigar Company in Nicaragua. Made by the top rollers at Oliva, Serie V Double Robusto consists of Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley ligero fillers, a spicy Nicaraguan binder, and a gorgeous sun grown Ecuadoran wrapper. This is one beast of a cigar, and well it should be. Beginning with a powerful blast of white pepper and unmistakable Nicaraguan spice, this 5" x 54 oily flavor bomb shows absolutely no mercy as it transitions into a rich, woody adventure speckled along the way with notes of coffee, cedar, and cocoa. It packs a huge punch, both flavor- and strength-wise, and finishes with a thick slathering of earth across the palate. This could be the finest cigar to ever come out of Nicaragua.

1 x Viva La Vida Jester (5" x 56, ●●●●● Full, 94 Rated). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2020 #16 Cigar Of The Year. This a Nicaraguan puro constructed with tobaccos grown on the Fernandez family farms. This means that every single leaf used in the blend is grown in Nicaragua—wrapper, filler, and binder. The result is a flavorful concoction suited to experienced connoisseurs in search of the next big thing. Don't let the jester on the band fool you, however, as this blend is about as serious as it gets. An easy draw produces copious amounts of thick, blue smoke, which greets the palate with plenty of heavy Nicaraguan spice. White pepper is the big opening, soon turning into a meaty medley containing notes of oak, cinnamon, and earth. A hint of floral sweetness through the nose finishes the profile, rounding out a bouquet.

1 x Liga Undercrown Gran Toro (6" x 52, ●●●●● Full). Cigar Aficionado honored this remarkable blend with the #25 spot on their 2017 Cigar of The Year list. Drew Estate used many of the same rare tobaccos used in the T52 and No. 9, but of different priming and vintages. Undercrown consists of a top shelf combination of Nicaraguan Cuban seed and Brazilian Mata Fina filler tobaccos, a T52 Connecticut River Valley stalk cut and cured Habano binder, and a rare San Andres Maduro wrapper known as Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte (Spanish for Last Cut Black Otapan). The firm draw burns the cigar slowly, producing long, silky ribbons of translucent blue smoke that coats the palate like syrup. With earthy tobacco as the core flavor, Undercrown evolves into a luxurious array of nutty, creamy blasts of cocoa and sweet Nicaraguan spice. The overall profile is like the "classic maduro profile," yet much more refined. A sweet, thick finish completes the phenomenal bouquet of flavor.
