CAO Session Shop Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
CAO Session Shop is a cigar made to be smoked by anyone, any time, in any place. That’s the theme behind what is considered to be the signature cigar of CAO Master Blender Rick Rodriguez, whose inspiration for this line came from the countless cigars smoked in his garage. As for the name of the cigar, perhaps it is comparable to a “session beer,” a beer that is good all-around but won’t put you on the floor, making it appropriate to drink all day long if the occasion calls for it. Well, with CAO Session cigars, the same idea applies—plenty of flavor, amazing quality, and just the right amount of “kick” to relax with. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, Session uses Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan Esteli fillers, a Dominican Vega Especial binder, and a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. The result is an amazing stick that has already earned a 90 rating in Cigar Aficionado and continues to gain popularity among smokers of all experience levels.
Packed in bright orange boxes resembling small tool chests, CAO Session, like any CAO cigar, boasts some of the coolest and most unique presentation on today’s market. The vitola itself is built with CAO’s legendary craftsmanship, including a firm pack, nearly seamless roll, and an easy, overly productive draw. Session begins with a blast of sweet spice and earthy maduro goodness. Notes of cedar and leather linger in the background throughout the smoke, as the flavor profile changes from earthy to sweet, showing heavy notes of espresso and dark chocolate. Red pepper and a faint vanilla note show up on the finish, and overall, this package is full-flavored and medium-bodied.
The Shop size is a 6” x 60 gordo size that offers a mellow, slow-burning smoking experience for fans of larger ring gauge sticks.
To say Rick Rodriguez hit the nail on the head with this one is an understatement. Definitely suitable for all audiences, CAO Session is a fun medium-bodied stick that is more than appropriate for every occasion. Coffee goes well with it in the morning, or a cold soda on the back patio, or a dark beer at your favorite smoke-friendly bar. Session joins Flathead and Consigliere as one of the latest releases from CAO, proving that the big name is still very much in the game even in this modern era of cigars. Whether you want a smoke for the garage, the bar, the patio, or the shop, CAO Session Shop has you covered!
