1 x CAO BX3 Toro (6" x 54, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This cigar has a rich and complex Brazilian wrapper. And if just one leaf of Brazilian tobacco could achieve such a wonderful symphony of flavor in a Honduran handmade, imagine what three of them could do. That’s right, in addition to a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, the BX3 contains a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and even more Mata Fina as part of the four-country blend at the heart of each stick. Earthy yet sparkling with hints of minerals, citrus, and spice, the first third is creamy and smooth. By the halfway point, you’ll be cruising along with espresso, black cherry, leather, and molasses. The final third is a cascade of dark cocoa, rye toast, and cask-strength bourbon.
1 x CAO America Monument (6 ¼" x 54, ●●●○○ Medium). Rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado, this is an extremely unique blend of filler tobacco from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic paired with tobaccos from Italy as well as America. A spicy Brazilian binder holds it all together. Just as one-of-a-kind as the filler blend is the wrapper. A dual wrapper of Connecticut shade as well as Connecticut broadleaf maduro are utilized to create a barber pole effect. Expect a rich, chewy profile, loaded with cream and oaky nuances. The finish is short and sweet.

The Amazon Trilogy has a prequel, its name taken from the original name of the Amazon River when it was first discovered by Francisco de Orellana. CAO Orellana features a rare and spicy Brazilian Cubra wrapper and an intricate blend of binder and filler tobaccos, lending flavors of leather, black cherries, pepper and cayenne.
