CAO Gold Honey Corona Single Cigar
The CAO Gold Honey Corona stands as the most refined and subtle offering in the celebrated CAO Flavours Collection. While many infused cigars lead with overpowering sweetness, the Gold Honey maintains a masterful balance, featuring a core of premium Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers cloaked in a high-quality, golden Cameroon wrapper. This 5 1/4" x 42 vitola is designed for those who appreciate a mild, mellow smoke that complements—rather than masks—the natural taste of fine tobacco.
The defining characteristic of this blend is the infusion of artisanal honey harvested from the nectar of Florida orange blossoms. The experience begins with a delicate hint of citrus on the palate, which gradually develops into a rich, floral sweetness derived from this specific regional honey. This evolution culminates in a beautifully defined, natural honey note that remains clean and refreshing from the first light to the final puff. The classic Corona format allows for a cool, steady burn that highlights the creamy texture of the Cameroon leaf, filling the room with an aromatic bouquet that even non-smokers can appreciate.
The CAO Gold Honey is an ideal "bridge" cigar, making this single stick a perfect choice for traditional enthusiasts curious about infusions or newcomers seeking an approachable starting point. Its understated profile ensures the tobacco base remains the star of the show, providing a sophisticated stepping stone between classic blends and bolder aromatics like Moontrance or Earth Nectar. To fully elevate the floral and honeyed nuances, pair this Corona with a glass of sweet wine or a smooth Highland scotch.
