The Brick House Robusto by JC Newman proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to enjoy an exceptional premium cigar. While JC Newman is celebrated for ultra-premium lines like Diamond Crown, Maximus, and Julius Caesar, Brick House became a global best-seller for its unbeatable value and quality. First launched nearly a century ago as a Cuban puro named after Newman’s childhood home, the brand was revived by Eric and Bobby Newman using a Nicaraguan filler and binder with a distinctive Ecuadorian Havana Subido wrapper. The result earned multiple 92 ratings and recognition as Cigar Aficionado’s #17 Cigar of the Year in 2010.
Construction lives up to JC Newman’s reputation, delivering an effortless draw and abundant creamy smoke. Expect a medium-bodied profile that opens with gentle white pepper before transitioning to layered notes of cinnamon, coffee, cedar, nutmeg, and maple, all built on a sweet, nostalgic tobacco core. At 5" x 54, this robusto offers about an hour of satisfying flavor, making it an excellent everyday choice.
Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or just discovering premium cigars, Brick House is approachable, affordable, and consistently excellent. It pairs beautifully with coffee or a medium-bodied beer, standing alongside value favorites like Flor de Oliva or Perdomo Fresco. Add this humidor staple to your lineup for rich flavor, top-notch construction, and timeless appeal.
