Brick House 4-Cigar Sampler (Includes Free Shipping)
A veritable mansion of flavor and craftsmanship, Brick House stands as one of the best of the ever-impressive lineup of cigars coming from the estate of the ages-old J.C. Newman Cigar Company. A frontmark from way back in the early days of the company, which was founded in 1895 and survives today as the oldest family-owned cigar company in the U.S., this new version seeks to recreate the classic experience of the original while utilizing the finest of modern tobaccos and crafting techniques. Rich Nicaraguan long-leaf filler and binder form the framework of each vitola, but the true curb appeal of the cigar comes from the special and exclusive Havana Subido wrapper, chosen for its Cubanesque character and quality. This blend has received multiple 90+ ratings from Cigar Aficiondo (as high as 93), including reaching the top 25 a few times.
Included in the Brick House Sampler is one each of the following:
1-Mighty Mighty 6 1/4" x 60 - Rated 90 - For those who prefer a substantial, long-lasting smoke, the Mighty Mighty delivers a massive 60-ring gauge experience that highlights the blend's cooler-burning characteristics. Wrapped in the signature reddish-brown Ecuadorian Havana Subido leaf, this vitola allows the aged Nicaraguan fillers to expand and breathe, resulting in a dense, creamy smoke. Expect a steady profile of cedar, toasted nuts, and a touch of white pepper that remains smooth from start to finish. Its impressive stature makes it an ideal companion for a long afternoon on the patio with a stout or a rich coffee.
1-Mighty Mighty Maduro 6 1/4" x 60 - Rated 91 - The Mighty Mighty Maduro takes the oversized 60-ring gauge format and adds a layer of dark, fermented intensity. Cloaked in a toothy, chocolate-colored Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, this version leans into a deeper flavor palette than its natural counterpart. The smoke is exceptionally rich, offering dominant notes of dark cocoa, espresso, and earthy spice, all balanced by a characteristic Maduro sweetness on the finish. It is a bold yet approachable "Gordo" that provides a luxurious, full-flavored escape for fans of darker leaf.
1-Brick House Toro 6" x 52 - Rated 91 - As one of the most popular sizes in the lineup, the Brick House Toro offers a classic ratio of wrapper to filler that perfectly captures the essence of the Newman family’s revived legacy. This 6" x 52 vitola is highly regarded for its balance, delivering a medium-bodied journey defined by sweet wood, cinnamon, and roasted coffee. The construction is consistently top-tier, ensuring a razor-sharp burn and an effortless draw. It is a versatile choice that feels just as appropriate during a morning commute as it does as a celebratory evening smoke.
1-Brick House Robusto 5" x 54 - Rated 92, Top 25 Cigars - The Brick House Robusto is the crown jewel of the collection, famously earning a 92 rating and a spot on the Cigar Aficionado Top 25 list. Despite its more compact 5" x 54 frame, this cigar packs a sophisticated punch, concentrating the blend’s flavors into a vivid, aromatic experience. The palate is treated to a complex evolution of maple sweetness, nutmeg, and savory cedar, backed by a creamy texture that lingers long after the final puff. This award-winning Robusto is widely considered the "gold standard" for what a high-value Nicaraguan cigar should be.
