marker. That’s exactly how the Plasencia Alma del Fuego Candente landed
for me this past week—standing at the crossroads of summer’s end,
back-to-school routines, and the possibility of big changes at work.

don’t let its stature fool you. Much like my kid heading into a brand-new
school year with a backpack that looks two sizes too big, this cigar carries a

Halfway Point: Smooth & Nutty Transition
By the halfway point, the cigar mellowed into a nutty, slightly sweet
profile, almost like toasted almonds. That shift felt like the natural
rhythm of the season—summer’s high energy giving way to autumn’s steadiness. I
found myself reflecting on the possible job change I’ve been considering. Just

The final third brought back the heat: stronger spice, rich espresso, and
deep earthiness that closed things out with authority. It felt less like a
