As a cigar enthusiast who typically avoids flavored wrappers, I must say that the Acid Kuba Kuba Maduro by Drew Estate pleasantly surprised me. This is a medium to full-bodied cigar with a length of 5 inches and a ring gauge of 54. The wrapper is a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro, which gives the cigar a rich, earthy aroma. The burn was even throughout the smoking experience, and the ash held firm, only falling off in small chunks after a good inch or so. The draw was smooth, allowing for ample smoke production without being too loose or too tight.

Appearance

Before lighting, the cigar's wrapper is a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro that is smooth to the touch. The wrapper has a slight sheen to it, with visible veins and some natural variation in color that indicates the use of high-quality tobacco. The cigar is well-constructed, with a firm pack that gives the cigar a weighty feel in the hand. After lighting, the cigar takes on a different appearance as the wrapper begins to burn and the tobacco inside begins to release smoke.
