Big and Beefy No. 570 Cigars
The Big and Beefy No. 570 is a substantial 5" x 70 gordo that prioritizes value without sacrificing the integrity of its construction. These cigars are produced at the Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic, a facility overseen by Jochy Blanco and renowned for producing high-end releases like Aging Room. By utilizing the expertise of this storied factory, the Big and Beefy line offers a level of consistency rarely seen in bundle-selection cigars of this scale. The No. 570 is characterized by its medium-bodied profile, derived exclusively from a blend of vintage Dominican long-filler tobaccos. This aged leaf ensures that despite the massive 70 ring gauge, the smoking experience remains balanced and smooth from the initial light to the final third.
The flavor profile is grounded and traditional, defined by prominent notes of toasted cocoa and a gentle baking spice that lingers on the palate. Because it avoids the aggressive strength often associated with larger formats, it serves as an approachable option for those who prefer a long, cool-burning smoke that maintains a creamy texture. The construction at Tabacalera Palma ensures a reliable draw, which is critical for a vitola of this diameter. For the enthusiast seeking a high-volume daily cigar, the Big and Beefy No. 570 provides a robust, flavorful experience that reflects the quality of its Dominican heritage while remaining budget-friendly. It is a practical addition to any humidor for smokers who appreciate a generous format and a nuanced, Dominican-forward profile.
