Asylum Insidious 52x6 Cigars
The Asylum Insidious 52 x 6 is a cigar designed to upend expectations. While Asylum founder Tom Lazuka is widely celebrated for his massive, high-octane blends, the Insidious was created with a more nuanced mission: to deliver a fully satisfying, flavor-forward experience without overwhelming strength. This 6" x 52 Toro serves as the perfect "gateway" smoke for those new to the hobby, while offering enough complexity to intrigue the seasoned aficionado looking for a creamy change of pace.
Wrapped in a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf and featuring a lightly sweetened cap, the Insidious is built on a perfectly balanced core of aged Honduran binder and filler tobaccos. The construction is flawless, offering an inviting, bright mineral aroma right out of the cellophane. Upon lighting, the experience begins with gentle honey and toasted nut notes. As the burn progresses, the sweetness matures into rich maple syrup, eventually introducing sophisticated layers of cedar, plum, and a subtle touch of black pepper. It is a smooth, mild-to-medium journey that remains engaging from start to finish.
