2 x Asylum 13 Ogre (5” x 50, ●●●●● Full). Most barber pole designed cigars utilize both a lighter Habano or Connecticut wrapper with a darker maduro leaf to give it that characteristic striped design, but the ogre went a little further. Instead of a maduro, Christian Eiroa decided that his barber pole design would have a candela wrapper paired with the more traditional habano to give the Ogre a striking brown and green stripe. Spice, leather, and cocoa all are notes you can expect, just like in the regular Asylum 13 but the main difference comes from the Candela wrapper. There is a grassy earthiness which is present from beginning to end due to this unusual wrapper.
2 x Asylum 13 (5” x 50, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). If you love huge ring-gauge cigars that are bursting with flavor, but are short on time, this is the stick you have been searching for. A Nicaraguan puro, Asylum 13 is made with only the finest Nicaraguan tobacco, which is aged to perfection.
