Not only is this the first new line from Ashton since the much heralded ESG line in 2006, but it is the also the first line from Ashton that uses Nicaraguan Tobacco. Ashton Symmetry Belicoso is a 5 1/4 inch by 52 ring made in the Dominican Republic, at the Fuente factory. Ashton Symmetry is a mild-to-medium bodied cigar comprised of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobacco, a Dominican binder, and an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
Ashton Symmetry Belicoso starts off with an extremely small hint of cinnamon and red pepper due to the inclusion of the Nicaraguan tobacco, but this very quickly is pushed aside for the creamy mild taste that Ashton fans have come to expect. Staying in the same flavor category throughout the length of the cigar, this cigar is an amazingly smooth smoke.
