Arturo Fuente Opus X Angels Share Fuente Fuente Cigars
The Arturo Fuente Opus X is synonymous with luxury and excellence in the world of premium cigars. Known for its bold flavors and complexity, a traditional Opus X sometimes requires resting to mellow. To celebrate Arturo Fuente’s 100th anniversary, the company introduced the Opus X Angel Share Fuente Fuente, a refined variation of the iconic blend that is ready to smoke straight from the box. Its standout feature is a beautiful Dominican Sun Grown wrapper, offering a smoother, more approachable experience without losing the legendary Opus X character. This Fuente Fuente OpusX Angel’s Share earned #9 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2025, boasting an impressive 96 rating.
The classic Opus X band is complemented by a secondary Angel Share band, adding to its elegance. The toothy mocha-brown Sun Grown wrapper immediately draws attention, while the first puffs reveal a gentle sweetness that glides across the palate, replacing the intense pepper bite of a traditional Opus X. This sweet note persists throughout the smoke, perfectly balanced by earthy cedar undertones that emerge in the back half, creating a refined, layered flavor profile.
Measuring 5 5/8" x 46, the Opus X Angel Share Fuente Fuente delivers a medium-full-bodied smoke that is more accessible to a wider range of cigar enthusiasts. Named for the winemaking term for alcohol lost during aging, these cigars are perfect for special occasions, gifting, or adding a luxurious, collectible smoke to your humidor. With its smooth, elegant, and flavorful profile, this Fuente Fuente variation makes the legendary Opus X experience more approachable while retaining its signature sophistication.
