The Wild Hunter series from Oscar Valladares has taken off over its first few years, and Wild Hunter Maduro is beginning to gain even more momentum than its Natural counterpart. Made in the Oscar Valladares factory in Honduras, both the Natural and Maduro versions of this blend are true Honduran puros. This means that every single leaf used in the production of the cigars is grown, harvested, and aged right in Honduras—wrapper, filler, and binder. In the case of Wild Hunter, the tobacco used is straight from Valladares’ own family farm, La Estrada a Copan. The wrapper leaf used on this unique Maduro variety is a Honduran Maduro leaf extensively aged to provide rich and refined flavor. Both versions of this cigar are available in a single size: a 6” x 52 Toro. This size provides a lengthy burn time along with just the right amount of tobacco to get a truly amazing representation of the flavor profile.
