In the case of Rocky Patel Year of the Snake, we have the second Rocky Patel cigar themed around the Chinese Zodiac, following Year of the Dragon, and many would say this one is even better! Made at Rocky’s famous Tabacalera Villa Cuba factory in Nicaragua, this ultra-premium cigar celebrates the 2025 Chinese New Year in quite a delicious way. The filler blend contains leaves from Honduras and Nicaragua, the binder is Nicaraguan Broadleaf, and the wrapper is a dark and oily Nicaraguan Habano leaf that adds a gorgeous depth to the flavor profile. Limited to 60,000 cigars, this project has already proven to be one of Rocky’s craziest yet, and the solid 90 rating in Cigar Aficionado can certainly attest to it.
