Project 805 Cigars
Ventura Cigar Co. is one of the new dogs on the block, but they have been making some very tasty and intriguing cigars. Their Project 805 is no different. This unique cigar introduces the Andullo tobacco into the filler blend that has never been used in a cigar before. This leaf is from the southern regions of the Dominican Republic and has a curing process unlike any other tobacco used for cigars. Instead of the traditional method of bunching tobacco leaves into piles called pilons, Andullo tobacco is wrapped around a stalk and aged inside of palm seed pods called yagua.
