Usually, if a cigar is made exclusively for a small shop, but eventually becomes a regular production stick, there’s no doubt that somewhere along the line someone decided it was way too good to keep away from everyone else. Such happens to be the case with Nasser The Goat by AJ Fernandez. This cigar has humble beginnings as a one-store offering for Nasser’s Lounge, a small venue in Petion-Ville, Haiti, of all places. Made in Nicaragua at AJ Fernandez’s own factory, the blend for this stick is no less than we would expect from such an industry superstar. The filler blend consists of premium leaves from the Fernandez family farms in Nicaragua, the binder is a Nicaraguan Corojo leaf, and the wrapper is a silky, oily San Andres leaf grown in Mexico. The result is a cigar that is bound to leave you wanting another every time.
