My Father by Don Pepin Cigars

Jaime Garcia crafted My Father cigars in tribute to his dad, the master Jose "Don Pepin" Garcia. While Jose was crafting cigars in Miami, Jaime secretly started the blend of My Father in Nicaragua. When Pepin found out, he immediately asked his son for three cigars. It was while smoking those sticks, Jaimie revealed his intentions to honor his father with the branding of My Father. Using Nicaraguan binder and filler grown by the Garcias themselves and a stunning chocolate brown Ecuadorian wrapper grown by the masters at Oliva, My Father is the perfect tribute. A medium-to-full bodied cigar, you can almost taste the love that went into crafting this blend.

An intricate, multicolored band has a beautifully lettered MF in the center as well as My Father written underneath. The wrapper leaf is perfect, as one would expect from a cigar made by Garcia. On the few we smoked, there wasn't even a vein to be seen. Deep brown and just slightly oily, we knew from the get-go we were in for a treat. Deep spice and slightly sweet toffee flavor engulfed our mouth with each and every puff. Despite being more full-bodied and flavored, My Father is incredibly smooth right down to the nub.
