Kristoff Classic Reserva

Not many brands are doing cedar wraps these days, so it's awesome to see the Classic Reserva displaying such a, well, classic look. After removing said sheath, the body of the cigar feels firm and well made with a clean cut foot and mounted head. There's a touch of licorice in the cold draw, but this fades once the cigar is lit and a flood of leather and cocoa and toasted almonds greets the palate. The smoke starts and stays at medium strength throughout, building layer upon layer of flavor with each creamy puff. Oak and spice, citrus and green tea, black pepper and fresh cut grass. The licorice even pays another visit during the final third, like dessert following a succulent meal.

True to Kristoff's boutique heritage, only 1000 cabinet-style boxes each of the three Classic Reserva vitolas have been made. If you want them, then you better grab some now. If you don't want any at all, you should probably get a few anyway, because once you taste them you'll be glad you did. So what are you waiting for?
