If you worked at a prestigious and widely heralded cigar company, you too might get access to the absolute best tobaccos available and be able to create a world-class smoke like the Norteño by Willy Herrera. Rising from humble origins crafting quality cigars for a small Miami boutique, Herrera is now a master blender at famed Drew Estate in Nicaragua. With this access to the La Gran Fabrica factory's vast stores of quality leaf, he was given ample time after joining the team to prove his mettle and he took full advantage. First blending a collection of aged Esteli and Jalapa tobacco for the filler, Willy then selected a Honduran binder to add a spicy kick to the rich San Andres Maduro wrapper he laid over each box-pressed vitola.
