In recent years, there has been a trend of celebrated cigar brands coming “back from the dead,” and one cluster of cigars that has proven hugely successful is the Timeless blends by Ferio Tego, formerly sold under the Nat Sherman umbrella. This specimen, Ferio Tego Timeless Sterling, resurrects the beloved Nat Sherman Sterling cigar that was once such a treasure in the humidors of many a connoisseur. This blend is made at the famed Quesada factory in the Dominican Republic using a heavily aged blend of Dominican filler and binder tobaccos. The finishing touch is a golden-brown Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf. Of the four different variants in the Timeless series, Sterling is easily the most recognizable, and it certainly provides a nostalgic experience for those who enjoyed the blend in the Nat Sherman era.
