That kid in all of us probably remembers the two great tastes that taste great together, but it's time for the grownup version with the Diesel Whiskey Row cigar. How original, you might say, lauding the qualities that tobacco and whiskey bring out in each other, but just imagine them melded together with a delicious result. Diesel's originator, the famed A.J. Fernandez, was fortunate enough to acquire a choice collection of used Rabbit Hole Bourbon casks to use however he saw fit. Not that it is any surprise, but he used these barrels to age quality Mexican San Andres longleaf for use as the binder atop his latest three-region blend of Nicaraguan filler tobacco. When combined with a succulent Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, this medium-strength refreshment is born.
