If the folks at Crowned Heads have a single amazing skill, it is bringing special cigars to the American market, something clearly demonstrated by the introduction of Luciano The Dreamer. When ACE Prime and Crowned Heads laid out a distribution deal a few years back, it was agreed that Nicaraguan factory Tabacalera Pichardo, which is owned by the same people at ACE Prime, would be making cigars for Crowned Heads moving forward. Luciano The Dreamer, named after company founder Luciano Meirelles, is one of the first releases, and to say it was a success would be an understatement. This blend features fillers from Nicaragua and Peru, a Nicaraguan binder, and a smooth Habano Corojo 99 wrapper leaf from Ecuador. Not only did this cigar make a big impression on fans of high-end boutique cigars worldwide, but it also earned a pair of 92 ratings in Cigar Aficionado and a spot on the famed publication’s Top 25 Cigars of 2021.
