Even the finest of cigar brands need a finest cigar of their own, and for the famed “red dot” brand, few would argue that Cohiba Royale is just that. Released in 2020 as the first Cohiba to come out of the STG factory in Danli, Honduras, Royale is said to be the brand’s fullest-bodied offering to date. The blend consists of exquisitely fine tobacco from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic. The binder is a high-end Piloto Cubano from the Dominican Republic, and the wrapper is a unique Nicaraguan Broadleaf from Jalapa. All tobacco used in the construction of Royale is aged five to six years, and the line is rolled by only a select few at the STG factory. Since its debut, Royale has collected numerous accolades, the most notable being a pair of 91 ratings in Cigar Aficionado. Connoisseurs get ready! This one will give you something to talk about.
