When Asylum Cigars began as a pet project from Tom Lazuka and former Camacho head man Christian Eiroa, nobody would have ever expected it to take off the way it did. Released in 2024, Asylum Twelve celebrates the company’s first 12 years in business, and does so in typical dominating Asylum fashion. This blend is made at the company’s home factory in Honduras using a mostly secret recipe for tobacco from an undisclosed Eiroa-owned farm in South America. While nobody knows for sure exactly what type of tobacco is used, suffice it to say this cigar is an absolute banger.

The packaging for the yearly Asylum Anniversary Cigar never leaves anything to be desired, and this remains true here. Stepping aside from the usual wooden coffins, each Asylum Twelve comes snugly nestled in its own aluminum tube.
