Arturo Fuente Opus X Lost City
This is an impressive cigar with a unique blend and extraordinary flavor. Named for the 2005 Andy Garcia movie about a Cuban tobacco farmer who was forced to give up his farm to the Castro regime, this vitola boasts as uncommon a story as it does taste. While filming at the Fuente farm in the Dominican Republic, Garcia had the idea of a scene in a tobacco field. Unfortunately for him, the harvest was just completed. Carlito Fuente offered a field to replant despite the off season. What resulted was an extremely exclusive, summer-grown, wrapper leaf that provides this cigar with its outstanding spiciness. This Dominican Republic puro is a very limited release and something every full-bodied-cigar lover should experience. On Garcia's suggestion, a portion of the proceeds from this cigar are given to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which benefits families in the Dominican Republic.
