Aging Room Pura Cepa
Indubitably, Aging Room Cigars has become a household name to cigar connoisseurs in recent years, and in 2018, the company unveiled Small Batch Pura Cepa, the second Nicaraguan puro to bear the Aging Room name. Unlike the vast majority of Aging Room cigars that are native to the Dominican Republic, Small Batch Pura Cepa is hand crafted in Nicaragua. Even more interestingly, the chosen birthplace of this particular puro by brand owner Rafael Nodal is none other than the revered Plasencia factory, overseen by Nestor Plasencia himself. Utilizing Nicaraguan tobacco for all three components, Pura Cepa includes top grade leaves from all 4 major growing regions of Nicaragua: Condega, Esteli, Jalapa, and Ometepe. Pura Cepa is built for serious cigar enthusiasts, and has taken off with quite a bang, earning a solid 90 rating in Cigar Aficionado soon after its debut.
