Alec Bradley rocks the cigar world yet again with the #15 Cigar Aficionado cigar of 2015 Alec Bradley Sanctum Toro, a new style of cigar to add to their heavily decorated portfolio that cigar freaks have come to know and love. Sanctum is made in Honduras using a 3-country blend of Colombian, Honduran, and Nicaraguan fillers and a Costa Rican binder. A light-colored Honduran corojo wrapper leaf finishes the blend, producing a smooth full-bodied treat.
Sanctum, to an unknowing cigar smoker, would appear to be a Connecticut-wrapped cigar, giving the wrong impression that it may be mild in body. However, this light wrapper is an extremely potent Honduran corojo, producing very full-flavored torrents of white pepper and earth that rock the taste buds like a hurricane. Notes of cinnamon and rustic tobacco are also apparent throughout the smoke.
