With a darker hue than you might expect from a Dominican Habano, the outer layer of these oily vitolas is noticeably veined but otherwise seamless and soft to the touch, while the interior is well packed with no lumps or soft spots to throw the draw off track. Opening with a complex rush of spices, loamy earth, and char, both the burn and the profile forge ahead with steady resolve. The midpoint pours on plenty of robust coffee balanced by bright nutmeg and smoothed by a touch of rich caramel cream.
