The Tatuaje Havana VI Victorias cigar is an homage to Pete Johnson's dog Havana. Each cigar in the line has a name that starts with a letter of the dog's name. The VI is representative of the original 6 vitolas that were released in this line of red labeled cigars for the Tatuaje brand. The Tatuaje Havana is meant to be a slightly more budget friendly line than the original Tatuaje Miami line. By rolling the entirety of this line at the My Father Factory, Pete Johnson is able to keep the prices a little bit lower on these cigars. But let's not forget that cheap does not have to equal bad.

The Tatuaje Havana VI is a well packed, spongy, triple capped and hefty cigar that really feels great in your hand, especially in the Gordito size. The foot aroma from this stick is chock full of berry flavors and a fair amount of spice while the wrapper smells of old leather and tobacco. The flavors present in the 1st third are spicy tobacco and a wood flavor that seemingly just sit on your palate. The 2nd third is a mix of spicy black pepper and the berry sweetness we originally smelled off the foot. The final third sees the spice backing off some and allowing a creamy almost nougat like sweetness to emerge. This is one great cigar that often gets smoked to the nub.

This medium-bodied, full-flavored cigar is sure to turn at least a few heads. Blended by the team of Pete Johnson and Don Pepin, this is one cigar that I absolutely deem box-worthy. Pick up a box or two, you'll thank me later.
