The wrapper on the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is a deep chocolate brown with some veins and a pronounced seam. The cigar seems to be packed well with no noticeable soft spots when squeezing the stick between one's fingers. The Vintage 1992 has a firm draw and puts off a surprisingly low amount of smoke on the draw while the stick itself billows smoke from the end.
Cigar Aficionado says the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is “earthy with hints of orange peel and espresso coffee.” Other reviewers have said that they taste berries, caramel sweetness, and creamy chocolate tones.
