The La Reloba Habano cigar was released by My Father Cigars in Spring of 2010. It is available is 4 sizes, Corona, Robusto, Toro, and Torpedo. The Torpedo has even earned a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado. It's a Nicaraguan cigar through and through as the filler, binder, and wrapper are all Nicaraguan.

The Nicaraguan wrapper is chock full of character with a fair bit of tooth and some fairly pronounced veins. However, what this cigar lacks in appearance, it more than makes up for in flavor. The first third tastes of raisins, caramel, and spices. The second third begins to introduce the famous Pepin spice along with some earthy, woodsy tones. The final third of this La Reloba Cigar is spice balanced with the earlier woodsy tones and adds a bit of creamy nuttiness at the finish.

Some of these sticks have been known to burn a bit unevenly but nothing that gets in the way of enjoying them. While this is certainly not the best effort from Don Pepin at this price, it's hard to let a few burn issues get in the way of picking up a few of these sticks. The La Reloba is also available with a Sumatra wrapper.
