The La Gloria Cubana Serie N Rojo cigar is Nicaraguan bound and filled with an Ecuadoran Sumatra Capa Oscura wrapper. These cigars are rolled at the El Credito Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.
It is firm to the touch all over, with an oily sheen to the wrapper. There are some bumps along the way but oddly no soft spots. There are some large veins along the length of the stick but nothing noted here should affect the way the cigar smokes. The pre-light draw was loose and full of flavors.
The La Gloria Cubana Serie N is a full bodied and full flavored cigar with a pre-light draw that tastes of raisins, honey, and molasses. The 1st third brings us flavors of cherry, earth, and that molasses we picked up from the foot and wrapper. The 2nd third ushers in some more of that molasses, maple syrup, and more of the earth from the 1st third. The final third is more of that delicious dirty earth joined by leather, oak, and more of the deep cherry flavor we had in the first third.
This cigar puts off a ton of smoke and a very pleasant aroma. I was surprised at how loose the draw was despite the ash holding on for more than 1/3-1/2 of the cigar. I didn't have any burn issues with this La Gloria Cubana Serie N and I don't suspect that you will either.
