The Rocky Patel Decade Edicion Limitada Robusto cigar is obviously a limited production run of the Decade cigars with a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper instead of their usual Ecuadoran wrapper. These cigars are round as opposed to the box pressed releases in the regular Decade line. The filler and binder of these cigars is supposedly the same as the regular Decade line as well. These cigars have been heavily compared to the Rocky Patel Winter Blend cigar.

These Rocky Patel Decade Edicion Limitada cigars appear to be well constructed despite some small pinholes in the wrapper. They burn evenly and and leave behind a slightly flaky light and dark grey ash. The pre-light draw is that of dark chocolate, cherries, and syrupy raisin flavors and once lit the flavors are more of the same. For the price and the limited nature of this cigar I was expecting a little more complexity and some more distinctive flavors from this stick.

All in all this is still a very good cigar. I often have a handful of them in my humidor when I'm looking for this particular flavor profile. If you like this cigar try the Diesel Shorty LTD or the La Sirena. This is definitely one worth chasing down for all the Rocky Patel fans out there.
